My answer to that dilemma is to just do one thing to get you back in the game.

Set a small and attainable goal like, “Today, I am going to take a 30-minute walk “and if it’s too cold I will do something inside for 30 minutes. Most likely though, if you really layer up you can stand the cold for at least 20 minutes and you’ll have achieved a small goal. And, you will be one step closer to getting back into your fitness routine.

You will have a new sense of confidence and you will have broken that barrier you might have had in place.

So, my tip for this second week in January is this don’t talk about how much you don’t want to get back to fitness. Change your mind set and set a small goal. Do it and you are on your way. Good luck!
