sue mackenzie, personal training in westborough maAs a new year approaches, lots of us will make New Year’s resolutions. Losing weight and getting more exercise are the top two resolutions people make.

Given how often New Year’s resolutions fail, I’m not a fan of them.

But, it’s always a good time of year to look at your health and fitness, set some realistic goals, and learn new things to help you achieve those goals.

For the new year, I’ve created a 6-week program, called ReFresh, focused on doing that.

The program includes 6 semi-private, personal training sessions.

Each 60-minute session focuses on specific objectives. For example, a session will be devoted to core work, another emphasizing total body work, and one focused on mindful stretching.

We’ll do more than just a workout during our sessions. We’ll also talk about the whys and hows of the work we’re doing, so you can expand your knowledge and bring new ideas and energy to your fitness approach.

And, it will never be boring. I have at least one of every exercise accessory ever created so you can expect variety and challenge in every session.

To start, we talk about your goals, questions, and fitness background. This will help me tailor your program and help you set objectives for the six week program.

The preliminary program schedule is:
