Group Fitness Programs and Classes

Fitness Meets Wellness invites you to feel great at any age. All programs are designed to be fun, empowering, and rewarding.

In addition to personal training, I offer small group fitness classes, and group personal training for 2-4 people.

Sample Classes

6 WEEKS TO WELLNESS

This total body workout is for all fitness levels, and uses weight machines, free weights, stability balls, weighted balls, and balance pods. Workouts are guaranteed to improve overall strength, coordination, balance, and core strength. Formats include circuit training and group participation. Each workout ends with abdominal work and relaxing stretches. This class is fun, motivating, and interactive.

CARDIO/CORE AND TOTAL BODY WORKOUT

Jump start your metabolism. Make a commitment now to join this class. This class will get you going, strengthen and tone your muscles, and energize your mind. Learn new techniques in the studio and get tips to take home with you. Get fit, healthy, and recharged.

ALL ABOUT THE CORE–AND MORE

For this total body workout, we’ll use bands, balls, weights, and stability balls to focus on your vital core muscles. But that’s not all. This program will also emphasize overall strength, balance, and stability.

If you’re new to exercising, just coming back to your workouts, or want a slightly slower place, this is the class for you. We’ll have plenty of time for individual instruction, so you get the full benefit of every workout. You can expect we’ll do a variety of exercises to help you get fit and feel refreshed and relaxed.

SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING

Small group training (2-4 adults) is designed for you to work closely with a personal trainer and address your specific needs and goals. Each session incorporates specific instruction and guidance through well-rounded workouts. The program also provides tools and strategies to help you stay on track with your goals outside of the fitness studio, including nutrition, stress reduction techniques, and at-home, targeted exercises.

STAY ON TRACK

This six-month program keeps busy working people on track with their fitness goals. The program offers individuals two training sessions per month (bi-weekly) and alternating “check in” with their trainer in the studio or via e-mail to insure continuity of program. Each individual is provided with a personal at-home program for exercises and basic nutritional guidelines

SENIOR FITNESS AND WELLNESS

Classes include instruction for better cardiovascular health and resistance training. Special emphasis is on functional fitness for seniors, including flexibility, balance, and coordination—all beneficial for the senior population

CORPORATE GROUP FITNESS

Fitness Meets Wellness offers group fitness classes and educational presentations for your employees at your site. Classes are designed to enhance motivation, reduce stress, provide your employees time to refresh their creative minds, and enhance their physical well being.

Content, session times, and intensity are customized to the needs of your group.
